Due to its high utilization value, the humpback whale has become the third largest producer of baleen whales in the world, but its quantity is gradually decreasing. It has been listed in Appendix I of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora and recognized as a first-class protected wild animal at the national level.
